Wouldn't you know, my room wouldn't stay uncluttered for long! This morning, Mom wanted to move all my 'junk' back in here, so she could get to the other side of her bed and finish making it. I must say though, the mess seems to take up less room now than when we moved it out a week and a half ago.
It was bright and sunny again today, so after the junk was moved, the chores done, with a little bit of catch-up studying under my belt I headed out to the porch. I repainted my wooden 'picket fence' box, had a salad for lunch, and then stitched until 3 or so, while my modem chugged down the 25 MB version of the new Star Wars movie trailer.
That was after I had to download and install QuickTime, of course... and then the download died a bit past 1/3 of the way and I had to start again. I finally got the thing in its entirety, and watched it twice. Then I went to save it in Netscape... and... well, QT wasn't set to save the file into cache. Darnit!!! I hunted all over, trying to find that file lying around on my drives, but no such luck. I guess I really don't need to fill up another Zip disk with QT movies, do I?
Jev and I chatted this afternoon, and even typed on IRC some, since the net did something weird and he was able to hear me on netmeeting, but I couldn't hear him. He eventually headed off to dinner, and then to the NCAA Womens Basketball game going on tonight, so I've been puttering around, doing my thing.
Not much of a day to write about, I suppose, but I enjoyed myself, and I feel like I got a few things accomplished. Including writing a journal entry, which seems to be a rare occurance these days. Wonder what tomorrow will see finished?
