Yep, it's Monday, and I'm in trouble again. Possibly, anyway. I don't want to talk about it much, since it's a legal issue, but a word to the wise: Don't post anything on a web page if you don't know who deserves credit for it; it could turn into more trouble than it's worth!
As if that weren't enough, while I was pulling clothes out for my trip, I discovered that my cat got into my closet when she was sick a week or so ago. She left her calling card everywhere: all over clothes, shoes, floor, shelves... not a pretty sight. After four washings, one of my best sweaters still has stains, so that was a little upsetting. Mom was nice enough to clean up all the mess, and try to get the stains out of my clothes. So far I've tossed a pair of shoes, and we're going to try again on the sweater (it's not been machine dried), but I think that will be a loss as well.
The day wasn't a total loss, though. Mom and I went up to the local nursery and she bought a bunch of plants to put in her hanging baskets, and we stopped at Sonic on the way back, so I got another orange flurry (yum!!). When we were planting her flowers, I heard someone pull up in a car; thought it was for the people across the street, but next thing I know, here comes my best friend in the state of Misery, and her partner. They had been up to Iowa and decided to stop by on their way back down to Springfield. They stayed and visited for half an hour or so, and that just made my day. At least until I got back online and found the e-mail about the legal issue.
Jev has been really supportive, and I'm sure that even if it doesn't work out in our favor, it won't be a big hassle, and he'll be behind me all the way. Dunno what I'd do without him, he's pretty darn great. He only has one more final, and he's all done with school, at least until he wants to go back for his Master's. I'm so proud of him, and can't wait to see him get his degree!
