Aahhhhhh....

We got our new bed today! Not the right frame, but we'll get that fixed once we get back from MO and WV with our other belongings. They delivered the mattress set around one this afternoon, then Jev and I went out to get the forgotten mattress pad and a few more necessities from Wal-mart. I swear, I think we're probably their best customers this week!

When we got back and put the pad on the bed -- followed by the sheets, of course -- we laid down to try it out, and ended up taking a nice little unscheduled nap. I think we both must have needed it. We woke up hungry, and so we went out to the Olive Garden for dinner, and now we're pleasantly stuffed and sitting on the living room floor, watching the computer (which has a TV tuner card), and waiting for 8:30, when Futurama begins.

It's been so nice to have this week together and get settled in our new apartment. I just wish I didn't have to go back to Missouri without Jev. It'll be about a week before we're back here and getting settled in. But we've made it for most of these three years apart, so I guess we can stand another week.
