I Need A Keeper

Some days, I really need a keeper. Take today, for example: I finally got around to throwing some clothes and towels in the washer, after treating the stains on them. I set the water temp and load size, started it running, and shut the lid and walked away. Hello, Lis! It really does a lot better when you put laundry detergent in with the clothes!!! Fortunately, I remembered right about the time it started agitating, so I hurried back and put in the Cheer and the Clorox 2. No harm done there, really, but I do tend to forget the obvious at times.

Like last night. Jev was tinkering with the server, and I was working on updating my site, and sending an e-mail to the notify list. In yesterday's entry, I went on about how Jev deserves a medal for what he does for me, and I went on in the notify message, mentioning that he was setting up the server so I can send my e-mail using the dreamhost address again. But I didn't stop and think to tell him how much I appreciated that. I needed someone to come up and whap the backside of my head for me, and tell me to wake up!
